Saoirse Ronan was truly breathtakingly beautiful, dressed in sheer heavenly elegance by the custom ERDEM resort collection at the 27th British Independent Film Awards. The sapphire gown created by crushed organza cloqué jacquard featured a dramatic, sophisticated, draped neckline and high-necked bodice hugging the waistline, giving it appeal and separation.
The magic touch that set this look apart was the cape-like sheer overlay, which had that excellent design touch adding ethereal movement. It hung like a sheer drape over her shoulders and cascaded down making for a very modern reinterpretation of Old Hollywood glamour. An exquisitely tailored and maintained train of the dress elongated towards the floor and made for great moves while standing out. Celebrity stylist Danielle Goldberg’s minimalist accessorization allowed the dress to speak volumes while Ronan’s hair was styled sleek with soft peach lips.
This dress is everything modern classicism could mean. It was all bold and yet refined-the moment was so slightly more than a dress well-deserved of remembering long after the last flashbulb has gone off.
